That being said, while it's a horror story with heavy subject matter, it has a lot of dark/bizarre humor, the setting is vibrant and surreal and the characters have a lot of personality. But I still feel like I'd like to see more cartoony art styled to suit comics (specifically, books for adults), and it makes me wonder if my horror comic will be taken less seriously because it's very stylized and cartoonish. ![]() It's the same reason for why, if you took a bunch of still shots from an animated show and arranged them into a comic, the art would be boring and repetitive.
